Dear lord I love books about plants. This may have been the best one yet, having read a ton of Pollan and books like Braiding Sweetgrass. The Overstory is a great education on some history of forestry in the U.S. and deforestation protests. Powers seamlessly weaves together diverse stories into a total masterpiece.
